Stephen created the images in Gallery 2 drawing on a Wacom tablet, on Mac and PC hardware, using Photoshop, Illustrator, 3DMax and Cinema 4D.

EKKO Signature Image
2001
EKKO was an image company we created to sell my repeating pattern designs. To promote sales, Stephen created this, an early example of artistically rendered 3D modeling, wrapping the shapes of his 3D-drawn environment with the pattern designs. This image appeared in EKKO’s ad in Print Magazine, which the ad department continued to run even after we ran out of funds because they liked it so much.
The “Blue Sphere” image was created first as a working sketch.
